Tana Dungsey Rinpoche will offer a “Fundamentals of Buddhist Meditation” seminar by Zoom. It will consist of six 1.5 hour classes.
For the more advanced practitioner, the classes will offer refinements of the fundamentals of basic practice and then progress to insights that will enhance Vipassana and Mahamudra level practices. However, this seminar is good for friends or family members you may know who have expressed an interest in learning about Buddhist meditation. The class will focus on the profound path of connecting with our minds, including basic meditation instruction using the breath, stabilizing and expanding awareness, engaging our compassionate instincts, and an exploration of the enlightened state or natural mind. In this way, the class can enrich meditation practice at all levels. Each participant will have an optional 1:1 interview with Rinpoche.
June 13 – July 25, 2021 “Fundamentals of Meditation,” Sunday mornings, 10:00 -11:30 a.m. MT (no class on July 4) via Zoom
Fee for the seminar, including all six classes, is $90. No one will be excluded because they can’t afford the fee. Contact [email protected] for registration and scholarship information.
