EVENT DESCRIPTION
Trekchö, or cutting through, practice of the Great Perfection, which directly introduces the student to the luminous purity of the mind’s essence. The student must be pointed out directly by a master of Dzogchen.
Trekchö I, Dec 22-25
Trekchö I, Rinpoche will give pointing out instructions to the students, to pave the way to recognizing Rigpa – the nature of dharmakaya. Once we have a glimpse of Rigpa from Trekchö I, we need to maintain such a recognition. In Trekchö II (Dec 26-29), Rinpoche will continue to provide further guidance, and enlighten us with the unique Dzogchen meditation practice.
Trekchö II, Dec 26-29
In Trekchö II (previously termed Enhanced Trekchö Practice), requires students to have solid experiences in the practice. Rinpoche will clarify common misunderstandings and doubts in practicing mind nature. For example, how we can differentiate real from fake Rigpa, how we may recognize Rigpa again after distractions, and dealing with emotions and disturbances.
