    Tsoknyi Rinpoche

For over 30 years Tsoknyi Rinpoche has been teaching students worldwide about the innermost nature of mind in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Born into a family respected for its spiritual attainments, he was identified by the 16th Karmapa while still a small child as the third Tsoknyi Rinpoche. His teachers include some of the most renowned masters of Tibet. Widely recognized as an outstanding meditation teacher, he is the author of three books: Open Heart Open Mind, Carefree Dignity, and Fearless Simplicity. Tsoknyi Rinpoche teaches worldwide at more than 50 retreat centers for monks and nuns who follow his spiritual direction. His most current humanitarian project is completing a large school for impoverished young girls in Nepal with both Western and traditional buddhist educational curriculums. His personal warmth, humor and compassionate attention greatly enrich and enliven his teaching.

EVENT DESCRIPTION

We’re delighted to invite you to a special live-from-recording event featuring Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s recent Losar teachings at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling.

In early March, over 450 practitioners from around the world gathered at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling to receive Rinpoche’s precious teachings. It was a powerful event where students from over 10 different countries had the opportunity to experience the magic of Rinpoche within the container of the exceptional Tsoknyi Gechak Ling campus.

Rinpoche continuously refines his unique way of guiding students toward ‘the healthy relative’, helping us to intricately work with emotional and cognitive habitual patterns. Some call this path ‘Fully Being‘ and others refer to it as ‘subtle body’ teachings. However you describe them, this most recent presentation is yet again fresh and profound.

Now, we invite you to experience these teachings online with the Pundarika community.

The event will be presented daily in two sessions, the first from 8-10am MDT and the second from 12-2pm MDT (time and date converter).

Videos of these teachings will be posted to the Program Page after each day’s session, so those who cannot make the live session can watch at a time of their convenience.

All proceeds will go directly to Tsoknyi Gechak Ling to show our enthusiastic aspiration that events like this continue to take place, and that all those who wish to connect with Rinpoche and the Tsoknyi Nuns have the opportunity to do so.
