A Special Teaching for Elders and Those Facing Imminent Death
Registration for this event will open on October 8th, 2024, and will close at 5pm MST, November 9th, 2024.
The Council for Elders is a special, online teaching offered by Tsoknyi Rinpoche specifically aimed at students 70 or older or those facing imminent death. This third teaching on the topic will be question and answer format, and will allow Rinpoche to continue elaborating on the bardo of dying, the two-fold bardo of dharmata, the bardo of becoming, and other experiences and practices centered around the process of dying.

This Program has a two-part fee structure:
- Free for students 70 and older, or suffering from a terminal illness
- $25 for all other students – Younger students and those who are otherwise healthy are welcome to attend these teachings, but must pay a nominal fee of $25. These fees are used to cover administrative costs and to support the Tsoknyi Lineage Nuns.
Prerequisites:
- All those interested must be students of Tsoknyi Rinpoche, or another Vajrayana Master.
- Please review the teaching that Rinpoche gave at the request of Transitional Life Care (TLC), a Buddhist end-of-life education and support program, and formulate your questions based on these teachings: https://www.tlcserves.org/free-tlc-videos
Questions:
- The format of the teachings will be Question and Answer.
- Only those who are 70 and older, or facing immanent death, will be allowed to ask questions.
- A form for asking questions will be included in the event registration information that is sent after registration.
