We are thrilled to announce that Tsoknyi Rinpoche will be teaching for 5-days at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling Nunnery in Chobar, Nepal, from March 3rd to 7th, 2025. For those unable to attend in person, these teachings will also be streamed online.

Retreat Schedule:

  • March 3–5: Teachings on Fully Being
  • March 6–7: Q&A with Rinpoche

If you plan to join us in person, please let us know by emailing james@pundarika.org with the subject line Losar 2025 and indicate the number of people in your party. While there is no on-site lodging, there are plenty of options in the Chobar area. Please follow this link for the location of Tsoknyi Gechak Ling Nunnery.

Online registration details will be available in mid-January

Losar, the Tibetan New Year, is an occasion for reflection, renewal, and the deepening of our practice. This is the Year of the Wood Snake, which is associated with wisdom, deep reflection, and transformation. The Wood Snake offers a powerful symbol and opportunity to engage with the dharma and enter the new year with clarity and compassion.

We look forward to celebrating the new year together—whether in person or online—with the precious teachings of Tsoknyi Rinpoche.

Please note: The drupchen at Tsoknyi Gechak Ling will take place during the Chinese New Year, which is one month earlier than Tibetan Losar in 2025.
