Glossary of Tibetan Terms Used in this Retreat
Lungs Given During the Advanced Retreat
Tsoknyi Rinpoche gave reading transmissions (in Tibetan: lungs) of the following texts.
The King of Aspiration Prayers is one of the most popular and common extensive aspiration prayers beloved by all Tibetan Buddhist lineages. It is recited almost daily in countless monasteries and nunneries, and especially during big pujas, drupchens and other elaborate prayer festivals. It gives a mind-blowing example of the aspirations made by great bodhisattvas, so that we can emulate their aspirations in our own practice. Link to the King of Aspiration Prayers.
Questions for Rinpoche
Questions for Rinpoche can be submitted anytime up until the end of the day on January TBD. Please submit your question via the form below:
Unfortunately, we cannot accept live questions during the teachings. Please make questions as concise as you can, given the large number of students that we expect for these teachings.
Requests of Rinpoche and for Prayers
We are deeply grateful for the many students joining us—over 200 in person and more than 400 online. With such a large community and small support team, we aren’t able to receive individual requests from online participants at this time.
That said, we are exploring new ways to better support the heartfelt needs of our online community. If you’d like to ask a question, we warmly encourage you to join a Fully Being Q&A. These monthly sessions are guided by Adam, Scott, and long-time student Fionnuala Shenpen. Additionally, Rinpoche periodically offers online Q&As organized by Pundarika US – these are announced via our website and newsletter.
To request prayers, we invite you to submit a prayer request to the Tsoknyi Nuns; your prayers will be gratefully received and included in the nuns’ practice. Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and patience as we continue to find ways to support this growing community.
Online Support
Do you have a support question? We will try to respond as soon as possible.
Video Recordings
The recordings of each teaching will be available as soon as possible, usually within 4 hours of the end of the teaching. They will be available for two months after the end of the retreat. Please do not share these recordings with others or make personal recordings.
